Your Training, Your Result

The difference between working out and training comes down to one word: a plan.

What is the difference between working out and training?

Why aren't you making gains even though you watch your diet and work out hard? What's the secret? Why do some people make gains while others don't?

It's all about this: have and follow a plan. Each time you make a meal or step into the gym, do you have a plan? Are you thinking about your goal for that meal or that session, and do you know exactly what you're going to do to reach it? Are you trying to bulk and gain muscle? To maintain, or to cut? And if you do have a plan, how disciplined are you about sticking to it?

Lots of people work out hard. Lots of people eat clean. Lots of people do both. But without a plan for what you're trying to achieve, the result won't come.

Define your goals. Work out how to reach them. Make the plan. Stick to the plan.

To get something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done.

Determination is the greatest talent.

Excuses are for people who don't want it badly enough.

Start by doing what's necessary. Then do what's possible. Suddenly you're doing the impossible.

Train, rest, eat and gain. Then do it all over again.

Reading is good. Training is better.

Put it into practice with a plan built for you.
